DEPOSIT

A refundable deposit of 25% of total trip’s land cost is required at time of booking to secure space. Please note, there may be some specific trips and arrangements that will require higher deposit, such will be advised at the time of booking.

*International Air Fare: Beside the trip deposit, we require full payment for the international air transportation to issue airline tickets and guarantee the fare. It is recommended that we receive confirmation on land prior to issuing airline tickets.

PAYMENT

Full payment is required 60 days before departure date. If the balance is not paid by the stated date, the right is reserved to cancel the booking(s) without further notice and without refund of deposit.

CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONE & TRIP CHANGE:

If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply and are due when we receive notice of your cancellation:

91+ days prior to departure = 0%
61 to 90 days = 25%
31 to 60 days prior to departure = 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable
0 to 30 days prior to departure = 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable

If you instead transfer to another trip or Postponed to another date, the following fees are due at the time of the request:
61+ days prior to departure = 0%
31 to 60 days = 25%
0 to 30 days prior to departure = 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable

Other specific supplier and airline cancellation penalties may apply in addition to cancellation and amendment fees charged by Travel House Nepal. There will be no refund for unused land arrangements. All cancellations required in writing.

INSURANCE

All travelers are highly recommended to purchase travel insurance coverage to protect themselves against cancellation due to any reason or illness prior to or during the trip. If a traveler becomes ill during a trip, all expenses like emergency evacuation, hospital and medical bills are the traveler’s responsibility and they shall not be eligible to any refund, either total or partial, of package cost paid.

FORCE MAJEURE

If a trip is canceled due to force majeure (acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.), We will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not already advanced to suppliers and use its best efforts to recover and refund the balance as promptly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceedings in foreign jurisdictions.

Travel House Nepal. is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for a canceled trip (e.g., non refundable advance purchase air tickets, visa fees, inoculations, equipment, etc.) or for any additional arrangements should the trip member have embarked prior to the scheduled group departure date. Travel insurance fee, visa fee, and visa handling fee are non-refundable. Since most airline tickets are discounted, refund may be subject to penalty from supplier/airline, may not be in full face value, and may require prepayment of processing fee to Travel House Nepal.
