Trip Introduction

Bardiya Wildlife Reserve is one of the largest and least explored National Park in Nepal. It is located in the remote Far Western Terai in Nepal. This National Park is the largest habitat of Royal Bengal Tigers in Nepal and is only one National Park with fresh water Dolphins. You stand a better chance of seeing a tiger here than anywhere else in Nepal. It’s a stunning place that seems a very long way from the 21st century, watching the sunrise over the forest from the back of an elephant. It is believed that the largest male elephant in Asia is in this park. This place is supposed to be safe heaven for royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, jungle cats, mongooses, sloth bears, blue cow antelopes, langurs, spotted hog, samber deer, masheer fish, gharial and mugger crocodiles, Gangetic dolphin etc. Same way, more than 30 different type of mammals and 250 species of birds are believed to be here.
