When it comes to rafting the Upper Seti, we here like to run it at our best. While this river can be rafted most of the year, during low water season this river truly empties of all its great fun. The Upper Seti, more so than most other rivers in Nepal, should be done during a time with good water volume. These dates vary as the weather and seasons will vary from year to year. Most years the best time for this river is during October-November and April to May during the spring season. Some years by mid-November the water levels shrink rapidly, sometimes years it won’t happen until early December. Just as well, May tends to be a better month than April for this trip as the country waits for the start of rain after the long dry winter. There is nothing greater than experiencing a river at its best time, so come book with us and we’ll see to it!
