Rara Lake

Rara Lake or Rara Tal, a beautiful and tranquil lake situated at an altitude of 2990m above sea level, is the largest (Approx. 13.77 Sq. Km) and deepest (548 ft.) lake in Nepal located in the remote far northwest Himalayan region. It is one of the less explored destinations due to the rough route but equally popular among off the beaten trekkers. The glimpses of culture is quite different from the rest of Nepal.
