Ladakh “land of high passes”- The adventure capital of India, is the destination that has the top three highest mountain passes in the world. Ladakh a word which means “land of high passes”, is a region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and at an altitude of 11500 Ft. is a land like no other. Bounded by two of the world’s mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two others, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range.
